Welcome to Money Mondays!

(If you are not reading this post at www.howisavemoney.net or in your feed reader, it may have been stolen from my site.)

I used to post my financial inflows and outflows on Fridays in the past but I decided to move this to Mondays instead. Normally I go grocery shopping on Sundays after church. Now I  will post the last week’s worth of financial inflows and outflows on Monday so that I can include the weekend spending as well.

This week my financial outflows were:

$73.00 to renew my car registration online. Before that, I paid $7.00 for the annual inspection at my regular mechanic.

During the inspection they noticed the lights over my license plate were out. That replacement cost an additional $12.50.

$124.33 for the shared electric bill. My roommate owes me $62.16 for her portion if she pays in full. She usually gives me cash instead of writing checks. She also gives me a full dollar instead of exact change. This means she should give me $63.00 if she follows the trend.

There will be one more shared bill because she is moving out next month. She will still owe me the amount for July and I hope she pays it.

$32 for my portion of the shared phone bill. I give thanks every day that I am on a shared plan with this group. They graciously allow me to pay a lesser share since I am still in school and everyone else is working.

This week my financial inflows were:

$3.91 from the remaining balance after making a new Lending Club loan. I only make loans for the minimum of $25 and then transfer the balance to my checking account.
