This is the first of a revamped series on the blog. I used to post my financial inflows and outflows on Fridays in the past but I decided to move this to Mondays instead. I normally go grocery shopping on Sundays after church. I will now post the last week’s worth of financial inflows and outflows on Monday so that I can include the weekend spending as well.

This week my financial outflows were:

$32.70 for some acrylic storage containers. I have been using some plastic containers for the last three years but they are beginning to warp. I want the acrylic because they will be sturdy and just have a cleaner, more put together look, than multiple different styles of plastic containers.

$93.42 for electricity. This is a large payment this month but we are in the crazy winter months so I am not surprised. Part of this is from the entire day there was a heater fan running from when the pipes burst in the walls and soaked my kitchen and utility room. The walls and ceilings needed to dry before any work could be done so the industrial fan was brought in.

I also spent $77.57 on groceries this week. This amount includes staples that span multiple weeks, like bread and cheese. It also has the weekly allotment of quick perishables like fresh fruit, which will only last one week.

This week my financial inflows were:

This week my income will be my salary, which has not posted yet because of the holiday at the beginning of  the year.
