How I Save Money At CVS: 10 May 2009

May 10, 2009 by LuluGal in CVS with 4 Comments

Today I paid $0.49 out of pocket for $5.49 worth of items.
I was going in just to get the Crest mouthwash when I realized that there was a FREE item that I could get as well. I used the ECBs from last week to get the medicine for FREE and then used the ECBs from the medicine to get the mouthwash. Score!!!!!

I have now earned about THREE times what I spent in real money in ECBs. CVS rocks!!!!

Transaction 1

Item: Bayer pain medicine

Price: $2.00

CVS Extra Care Bucks earned: $2.00

Total coupons used: $2 ECB

LuLuGal, you know that my addiction to CVSing and other pharmacy coupon insanity started with reading your blog, right? My CVS year-to-date savings is $1744 and my CVS out-of-pocket YTD spending is $36. It’s all your fault :)

Girl you are too funny. I am happy that I got you addicted to CVS but a bit disturbed that you have saved more than I have. :-)

Keep CVSing and ignore the stares of those who don’t have coupons!!!!!

Wow you are a CVS Saving machine. I always have used my mothers card, by giving them my old home number, I think I need to get my own now.
