Welcome to Money Mondays!

(If you are not reading this post at www.howisavemoney.net or in your feed reader, it may have been stolen from my site.)

I used to post my financial inflows and outflows on Fridays in the past but I decided to move this to Mondays instead. I normally go grocery shopping on Sundays after church. I will now post the last week’s worth of financial inflows and outflows on Monday so that I can include the weekend spending as well.

This week my financial outflows were:

$68.20 on three bras. This may seem like a lot to some people but those of you in the know would find that this is a really great deal for THREE. Good, quality, bras that fit well can run about $40 each so I was happy to get these on sale and I am pleased with the purchase. I order my bras from HerRoom.com (and no I am not sponsored by them) and I highly recommend the site for variety and customer service.

$80.27 on food, including some medicine. I have had an acute upper respiratory infection for the last 5 days and I really needed to get some over the counter medicine. I went to the doctor on day 3 and he told me to keep using some other OTCs and then I have a prescription for antibiotics for Monday if I don’t feel better.

$32.02 on some household items, including canned food for the princess. I got some other bits and bobs that I just needed around the house like I always do so that was not a big purchase for me.

This week my financial inflows were:

$76.03 for helping out the complex with some students earlier on so that was a welcome cash inflow. Other than that I got paid at the beginning of the month as usual and that rounded up the zero based budget.
