Every Friday I post about my finances for the week in an effort to monitor my income and expenses. I used to post all of the actual figures but I have recently decided to stop doing this.
I will now post SOME of my actual expenses and leave the rest to your imagination. All income and expenses are recorded in Mint and any amounts are rolled over into the next month.
This week my expenses were:
$10 for a car wash. I know this sounds expensive, especially since I usually spend $4 to get the car clean. I have not washed the car in over a month and the area I live in is VERY dusty. My poor car looked horrible. I also paid extra to get the full undercarriage wash so I could get rid of the salt from the winter weather we have been having.
I also spent $7.40 on having lunch with a student that I mentor. We only meet twice a month so that is a good thing and I won’t have to spend so much on eating out.
I am proud to say that other than the lunch with my student I have not bought any other fast food and I have made a greater effort to bring more lunches from home.
