Every Friday I post on my weekly income and expenses in an effort to keep on track of my budget for the month. By breaking down my transactions on a weekly basis I can see where my money is going and see if I am going to be able to stay under my total budget for the month.
This week I received $7.34 from my investment in Lending Club. I spent $51.24 on groceries and a god bit of it was bread and fruits. I have decided to get more canned fruits as opposed to fresh because they tend to last much longer. I have been having a problem recently with y fresh fruit all going bad at the same time and I do not want to have to throw anything out.
I paid the last bit of tuition this week as classes begin next week and I won’t have to pay any more school related fees until summer. It is only the second week of the month but I am already halfway past spending the entire amount allotted for the month.
I cannot go over the allocated amount because my paycheck was significantly cut this year due to some life changes. My actual income is only $5 more than what my revised budget was and I really need to see if there is some way I can save even more money because I will have some new financial obligations coming up during the second half of the year.
