Join me next time as I look for more ways to save money as I visit CVS.
That is not a bad result for a shopping expidition! Your retail therapy was had and you came out getting what you wanted without being out of pocket. I love it!
Awesome! These small purchases sure do add up to big sums at end of year – maybe you can make a post of the money that you are able to save with coupon purchases.
I’ve heard of a few people using this trick to snag free stuff from cvs. I always wonders how these stores make money using these offers (maybe it just pulls more people into the store/larger purchases than normal.
Yes they normally get a larger sales volume but you must remember that these companies are not selling the items at cost, nor are they selling for a loss. So far I have seen things at CVS being sold for $2 or $3 more than what it costs at Walmart. They have to be making a profit even when people use coupons or they would not sell the items for very long. Even if they sell at a loss, people will generally buy other items in conjunction with the sale item and the sale only lasts for one week and has restrictions on the number you can get.
Another thing to remember is that many of those sales can only be found when you use your customer loyalty card and I have seen countless times when people do not bring theirs and they just pay the regular price.
That seems like a profitable shopping. I agree with @usedtextbooks, you must make a post about how much money you saved with coupons.
