This is really sad news. We went out of town for a few days to get honey settled in the new place and when we came back home the fish was dead.

We were really proud that we had managed to keep the fish alive for so long because someone aka me, always managed to kill the fish after about 3 weeks.

We have had this fish for months and we thought we were doing really well when this freak ice storm hits and the fish freezes to death while we are gone.

Although the fish died because of the temperature change I prefer to think of this unfortunate incident as the fish dying of a broken heart because he thought we did not love him any more and that we had abandoned him.

I think we will hold off on getting a new fish for a while.
