I just wanted to wish everyone a happy Valentine’s Day today. Whether you will be spending it alone or with someone special….please spend carefully. Try to find ways to save money while you are having a good time.
We are still in a bad economic time and one day is NOT an excuse to wreck the budget.
Here are just a few ways that you can save money this Valentine’s day and still have a good time.
Make a card instead of buying one
Pick flowers together
Have a picnic instead of going to a restaurant
Use a coupon if you do go to a restaurant
Split the meal….romantic and saves money as well
Set up a joint savings bond or CD
The most important thing is to cherish the ones you love and show them you REALLY care….not just that you want to spend money.
Hi There! Happy Valentine’s Day!!! My husband and I always cook dinner together at home on V-Day. We have been doing this for 7 years. The restaurants are absolutely crazy on this day and I refuse to wait 1 + hours for a table when I can make an awesome special dinner at home. Tonight I am having:
Steak
Chicken
Baked Potato
Green beans w/ almonds
Salad
It will be just the same as going to The Outback, Texas Roadhouse or any other steak restaurant.
Salina
🙂
Well you keep on doing what works for you. I hope he does the dishes since you cooked!
