Well it seems everyone around me is getting ready for Thanksgiving while I am not planning anything. I am not really in the mood this year because of all what has recently happened and I just don’t feel like spending a lot of money on one day.
I know that all the sales for Black Friday are just going to be crazy and wild and I urge everyone to be extra careful this year as you go around getting things.
Remember that this is a time for giving thanks for what you HAVE….not necessarily going out and getting more things that you just WANT. This is a time to appreciate family and friends and I think my Thanksgiving will be about a simple meal with loved ones and not a wildly extravagant affair where we gorge ourselves on food.
Be safe!
Don’t over eat!!!
Remember that Christmas is right around the corner and you will be doing it all over again.
I agree that thanksgiving is all about giving thanks to your loved ones. It’s really not necessary to have an extravagant meal or luxurious gifts. As long as you spend time with your family and have a good time with them then that’s what thanksgiving is.
Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Father’s Day, Mother’s Day and what all the other days’ units were created by merchants, stores, shopping centers, and anyone else who want us to spend our money. Skip all day and save your money.
