Welcome to How I Save Money and tracking of income and expenses for the month.
Income for the month to date: $34.51
Expenses for the month to date: $1962.03
Net effect: -$1927.52
So far I have been spending money on gas and food since my mother has come up to see the doctor. I was also running the air conditioning while she was here so I think that will bring up the electric bill a little bit. I am spending the rest of the week with Honey because he lives about 30 minutes from the hospital as opposed to me living 1 hour away.
This means slightly less gas used during the week to go to the hospital…but then I will have to drive more on the weekend when I do go home. The week away will counterbalance the electricity used on the air conditioning while we were here.
Please pray for my mother to come through this cancer. I am not good at dealing with this type of thing.
I will see you guys and gals later as I continue my journey to save money and become debt free!!!!
Great to hear you are taking care of your mom at this time. Your finances should come second now, I’m sure they are still a burden for you, but you should focus on your mom’s health and healing. You are a fantastic daughter and keep us posted.
Thanks for the support Scott. I am focusing on my mother getting better but I am still thinking about the money because insurance does not cover 100% and I can’t be broke from making reckless decisions because that won’t help any.
Your a very smart financial handler, Lulugal.
We can also track our finances if we use debit cards instead of its very tempting sister, the credit card.
It’s a surefire way to avoid getting ourselves into any credit card related mess like nerve wracking debt, sleepless nights and the toil of looking for credit debt elimination companies out there to absolve us from trouble.
