Airports are introducing a new speedy checkout for some travelers. Instead of having to remove your shoes to send them through the scanners some passengers can soon pay a premium fee of $100 to just walk through a scanner that will scan the shoes on their feet.
Wow! While I think it is convenient not to have to take off your shoes I really do not think it would be worth paying $100 for that privilege. After all….are you in a hurry? The plane will still be there by the time you get your shoes back on.
So do yourself a favor and save that $100 and just wear easy to remove shoes when you fly.
I completely agree with you, but… I splurged for First Class awhile back and found out that you get that sort of easy treatment the whole way through in FC. It was admittedly nice…
Adam, You are TOO much. I saw that at SJC and curious how well it will take off or not.
Well if someone wants to sponsor me the $100 I still would not do it. I would deposit the $100 into my Emigrant account and take my shoes off and walk proudly through the scanner.
Now if the $100 also took care of finding your bags on the carousel I would consider it.
