Welcome to Money Mondays!

I used to post my financial inflows and outflows on Fridays in the past but I decided to move this to Mondays instead. I normally go grocery shopping on Sundays after church. I will now post the last week’s worth of financial inflows and outflows on Monday so that I can include the weekend spending as well.

This week my financial outflows were:

$26.78 to fill up my gas tank. Gas prices are fairly low in my area and I was almost on empty when I decided to go to the gas station.

I spent $11.91 getting some cleaning supplies and air fresheners from the dollar store. There is a really amazing cleaner called Awesome cleaner that you can get for $1 a bottle. Someone actually gave it to me and I was amazed at the cleaning power, because I live in an area with hard water. I hunted around when the bottle ran out and was told it was a dollar store item!

$5.00 for a Starbucks gift card that will be given for a teacher appreciation day. I am a member of an honors society and part of our requirements entails community service in varying forms. We are hosting a teacher appreciation for the professors in our department this month and we had to pick items from a list or buy a $5.00 gift card.

So that was my spending for the week and I have a few purchases to get from my online retailers since I need a few items for the house, as well as more shelf stable foods.
