Welcome to tracking of income and expenses for the month. Please note that I get paid on the last day of the month so my cash flow net effect will usually be negative until the last day of the month.
This does not mean that I am adding to my debt, it just means that the money coming in is less than the money going out because I do not get my salary until the last day of the month.
Income for the month to date: $8.18
Expenses for the month to date: $1113.16
Net effect: -$1104.98
I got $5 in interest from ING and $0.08 interest from E*Trade for the month. I found $0.10 on the ground in front of CVS on a day where I spent zero dollars to get a bunch of stuff so I was VERY happy about that.
Expenses for the month so far have been as follows:
- rent
- $6.75 on groceries
- $300 to loan at home (sent money to brother to pay loan)
- $50 on two personal loans
- credit cards (payments to two different cards)
- savings
I treat my small Never Go Back To Fresno Fund like a bill so that amount is included in the ‘expenses’ for the month. I am very happy with my zero based budget as I can easily see how changing one thing affects the rest of my budget.
I will see you guys and gals later as I continue my journey to save money and become debt free!!!!
