Welcome to tracking of income and expenses for the month. Please note that I get paid on the last day of the month so my cash flow net effect will usually be negative until the last day of the month. This does not mean that I am adding to my debt, it just means that the money coming in is less than the money going out because bills are due starting on the first but I don’t get paid until the last day.
Income for the month to date: $ Got paid today
Expenses for the month to date: $ All paid
Net effect: $110.56
Since the last posting I got my salary and got stimulated by the tax reductions of the new government.
This came to the tune of $25 more per paycheck which I am going to ignore. The ‘extra’ $25 will simply remain in savings and I will continue with my budget as if it does not exist.
This will allow my savings to grow and will give me additional money to pay towards debt in the future.
I only spent $23.62 on gas for the whole month (I love living close to work!!!!) even though I drove out of town TWICE to see friends. I went over my food and household budget as a result of those trips but this was covered in other areas where I was under budget like with the water bill.
I spent $58.48 on electricity for the month and next month’s bill looks to be under $60 again.
I got $9.63 income from Lending Club where I have been lending money to a number of people and so far all loans except one are current.
I will see you guys and gals later as I continue my journey to save money and become debt free!!!!
This month looks better than the last one.
