Welcome to How I Save Money and tracking of income and expenses for the month.
Income for the month to date: $215.22
Expenses for the month to date: $2075.94
Net effect: -$1860.72
Ugh! I get paid on the 31st of this month and I can’t wait for payday. I have obviously spent A LOT this month but that is mainly due to the fact that I have been taking care of a sick individual. This has lead to an increase in gas, food and other household items, as well as eating out.
I am almost at the max on every budget category for the month and in the areas where I did manage to save I had to spend the extra money for unexpected items. I have to go back to work next week so this will mean more driving as well but I think I will be able to make it on a positive net cash flow this month after all. I guess you will have to come back to find out what really happens…so stay tuned.
I will see you guys and gals later as I continue my journey to save money and become debt free!!!!
I apologize but I have not been following your blog so closely lately. Why is your income so low compared to your expenses. My guess is you get paid on the 30’th of every month my recommendation is that you adjust your monthly finances so this is reflected up front. Or something.
I actually do get paid on the last day of the month but my bills are due at various times during the month. I prefer to acknowledge each expense as it occurs….remember this is my cash flow not my checking account balance.
I guess I need to state on the posts that I get paid on the last day of the month for new readers…so thanks for the comment.
