Income for the month to date: $ enough

Expenses for the month to date: $ higher than usual

Net effect: $ POSITIVE!!!!!

I got paid so the salary amount is included in the income for the month today. I obviously cannot post my salary so that is why the last day of the month does not show any figures. I had a few more expenses during the month like gas and more food since my mother is back at home and will be here for the next three weeks before the next dose of chemotherapy.

I paid a little bit more money since the last post but I was able to come out ahead this month. I did not send the money I usually send to my mother over to her, but I ended up spending that money here basically anyway with all the increased bills, food and gas. I am happy that I was still able to come out ahead this month because it shows that I have enough buffers in my budget to survive a small setback, like when I ended up spending $156.20 on gas this month with all the extra driving I had to do. I might just have to keep that free gas card for myself 🙂
