I spent a total of $21.05 during the last four days. Most of this was for food although I did get a few personal items that I was running low on. my spending for the month is right on track with what I had budgeted for so far so I am feeling good about the spending.

I did get a small amount of income today but since it was from a paid posting I am not going to disclose the actual amount. All I can say is that it was less than what I spent over the last four days!

Even though it was a small amount I am still going to break it up and put a portion into each of the savings accounts. These amounts will start at #1.00 and go up from there. I know that putting $1.00 into a savings account may seem a bit extreme to some people but hey I am making my savings increase penny by penny and if all I can afford is $1.00 then so be it.

I have updated my net worth and you can see the change on the chart in the lower left sidebar. I am going to need to do some serious grocery shopping soon but I think that I can make it until the end of the month with what I have in the pantry and the refrigerator.

Being more frugal due to lack of a car has really made me focus on what I use and how I use it. I am seriously counting every penny I spend and tracking it through Money every day. I do not carry cash around so I do not have to worry about that.

The only time I have used cash this month is to convert paper money into quarters so that I could get laundry done. I am really proud of myself that I am now managing the little money that I do have in a better way and now at any point in time I can pinpoint where my money went to.
