Every Friday I post on my weekly income and expenses in an effort to keep on track of my budget for the month. By breaking down my transactions on a weekly basis I can see where my money is going and see if I am going to be able to stay under my total budget for the month.

I spent $28.07 to order cereal and cookies from Amazon. I know this sounds like a lot of money for those items but they are well worth the price. They are actually from a British company and are a staple from my childhood so they are sort of a comfort food as well as being a special treat that I don’t get very often. I ordered six boxes of cereal and 5 packs of cookies and those will last well until the end of the year..unless I totally go crazy! This is part of my birthday money so the little splurge is taken care of with separate funds from my regular monthly budget.
