Here are the upcoming dates for the different coupon inserts for 2011. Please use this as a guide for the best times to purchase the Sunday newspaper so that you can get coupons to help you save money.
I will be using this guide to assist with all my CVS shopping as well so that I know when coupons will be available. I tend to get the papers when there will be all three different inserts OR when there are multiples of one type so that I can maximize my purchase, so January 2nd will be a great day for me to buy the paper, while January 23rd will not be a good day.

Good info, I spent quiet some time searching the web for more info but I found this page the best start for my research..
CVS is great. If you are buying something that you use every day like contact lens solution or vitamins you should never buy it at the regular price. Even if there isn’t a coupon for something many popular supplements and vitamins are often buy one get one free and alternate from week to week. I buy joint supplements for my knees and it’s expensive but you can almost always fine a week every month when CVS has it’s own brand on a buy one get one free special which saves me a lot of money.
Don’t limit your coupon use to drug stores or grocery stores either, many other consumables like contact lenses for example can be purchased online and many discount contact lenses resellers offer good coupon codes for freebies, discounts and free shipping and if used these can save you significant money if you are a regular contact lens wearer.
Whether at CVS, other retail stores or buying something online I always try to find printed coupons or google for coupon codes for the type of product I’m going to purchase. If you do this religiously throughout the course of the year it will add up to hundreds or thousands of dollars by the end of the year.
