I missed out on cash back on a purchase recently. I upgraded my phone after almost four years. This was my early birthday present to myself.

I had it all planned out where I would go to the store on a certain day and use my 2% cash back card. I ended up going to the store a day early to check out the phone…and was so excited that I bought it on the spot.

Of course I did not have the 2% card with me as I had just switched out cards for the month. I think I might get 1% on the card I used but I am not sure. This is just really annoying as I had it planned out and then got too excited.
