I used to post my financial inflows and outflows on Fridays in the past but I decided to move this to Mondays instead. Normally I go grocery shopping on Sundays after church. Now I  will post the last week’s worth of financial inflows and outflows on Monday so that I can include the weekend spending as well.

This week my financial outflows were:

$49.13 for the electric bill. I’m happy with the lower bill this fall since it is starting to get colder now. I will soon be using the heater so I expect the bill to go up a little more.

$32 for my portion of the shared phone bill.

$8.65 for a dustbin for the second bathroom. This is the price after tax and I got it at Ross. It is a metal dustbin and it looks really fancy for being under $10.

This week my financial inflows were:

$2.21 interest from my accounts. $110 from redeeming $100 worth of cash back points. With the Ally card I get a 10% bonus when the cash back is redeemed to a qualifying account. You do not get the bonus if you do a statement credit or if you get a check. So I made an additional $10 by redeeming to my account. I can then transfer or withdraw that amount once it hits my account.
