I am not doing much for Christmas 2016. This year I just don’t have money and I have a lot of work to get done.

My dissertation is now at the point where I am ramping up…meaning I don’t really get a holiday this year. I need to push quite a bit over the break to be ready to hit the ground running when the new semester starts.

There also isn’t enough money for me to go anywhere so I am staying in my apartment and not going out of town. This is a good deal since I really need to get some work done…but it is also a bit sad since everyone else is going somewhere.
