I wash my hair brushes to save money. Cleaning the ones I have means I can go longer before buying new ones. The main reason for washing is just to have clean items in my hair. Think about it you wash your hair frequently so why not wash your hair brushes as well?

I simply repurpose shampoo that I don’t like as a method for cleaning my hair brushes. Instead of throwing away shampoo that is not working for me, I use it to wash my brushes.

I use one brush for a week, then switch to another. This way I only have a week of product and hair buildup in my hair brushes. I have four brushes that I rotate through so I wash them every three weeks. This way I wash three at a time but always have a clean one for use.
