How I Save Money At CVS:6 July 2009

Today I paid $0 out of pocket for $1.78 worth of items. I had $2 ECB from the last time and since I will be travelling for a month and will not have access to CVS I decided to spend them even though I was going to ‘lose’ money on this transaction.

I sort of made money on one pack because it cost $0.89 and I got back $0.99 in ECBs. I had to pay the full price for the second pack.

Transaction 1

Item: CVS panty liners (got two so I could use the $2 ECB, but the limit on the ECB is one packet)

Price: $0.89 each

CVS Extra Care Bucks earned: $0.99 (strange!!!!)

Total coupons used: $2 ECB

  1. Cool – it doesn’t seem like you save much when it’s such a small amount but after time it does add up a lot. Way to Go!
