So after the drama with the lobsters last week I was able to get some fresh lobsters this week. I went back to the store yesterday to do my usual weekly shopping and decided to check the frozen seafood area. When I looked I saw that they had some new lobster tails for sale. They were by the same company but the boxes were different and when I looked the expiry dates were ONE YEAR from now so I went ahead and bought a box.
I cooked one tail as soon as I got home and had that for lunch and I must say it was GREAT. Of course at a cost of $12.50 per tail this is not something I can have in my monthly food budget but every now and then I will treat myself to some lobster and will take that purchase out of the Splurge Fund.
I’ve been following your lobster saga, must say, glad to hear you fulfilled your craving! 🙂
You can’t be happier than I was!!!!!
LOL! good for you! finally. When you’re craving for a lobster, you will get a lobster no matter how long and what it takes.
Glad to hear the lobster tail finally made it onto your plate. The extra hassles must’ve made it taste that much better. Personally my food splurge is usually sushi, although my girlfriend loves lobster. These small rewards do go a long way in keeping a person happy.
Yes they do….in fact I am looking forward to the next time I buy some more because I really enjoyed it.
