I have been trying to keep a positive outlook on the job search but it has been difficult the longer it goes on. I know it has only been one month and since I would have been on vacation anyway I really have not been ‘not working’, and people have been unemployed for MONTHS at a time before finding a job.
I am thankful for friends and family who keep me positive because I know that without them I would spiral into a world of depression. So thanks for all the kind words and cheerful thoughts everyone!!!!!
The most important thing when you are looking for a job is always to be positive when you go to the Interview, they do not know if it’s the first or the hundredth Interview you go to, try to look like a winner, be positive and tell yourself that you will get the job.
I know how hard it is, I was out of work for 8 months and it was trying times. Keep your head up!
Keep your head up girl! You’ll find a fabulous job before you know it.
Stay positive! Everything will get better.
Thank you!!!
I totally agree you should stay positive and never give up, if you believe in yourself then others will too and you will certainly find a job which meets your expectations
I’ve been working on websites and out of the career mode since my kids were born 5 years ago. I recently sent a few resumes out to positions that I was clearly qualified for and not so much as an interview.
I read somewhere a few months ago that employers quite handily prefer to hire people that are already employed. I guess they figure someone is more qualified if they are already employed, which is logical, but you’ll also have to pay someone a lot more if you are luring them away from another job.
Anyway, just know you’re not alone out there!
Really its about shifting your perspective in what your thinking about from bad to good. There’s loads of books on this area i.e. self-help, self-improvement and positive thinking.
One of my favorite books on positive thinking is called, “The Power Of Positive Thinking.” Awesome, awesome book.
I know it is easier said than done, but try to stay positive! I have learned that negative thoughts lead to negative actions. By thinking positive, you work towards positive results, period. I know, again, easier said than done. The power of the mind though works wonders when it thinks positive.
Keep your head up!
Sorry to hear about this. Hope you are doing better now. It is a hard time for a lot of people and hopefully it is just a phase that will blow over and lead to better times soon in the near future.
You can answer it any number of ways. Your positive outlook affects how you look at your community. By being positive, you give thanks and gratitude to the people in it and everything your community has to offer.
Thanks for the information.be positive every time. worth it
