This is not a post about how to save money because I was not able to save any money on this at all. Please skip to the next post if you don’t like this topic.
It is now exactly one week since I had my surgery.
I feel a LOT better today than I did last week although I am not out of the woods yet. I had my visit with the doctor yesterday and he showed me the pictures of the surgery and explained a few things to me.
I had THREE fibroids removed last week. Two were 2cm and one was 2.5 cm in diameter. My stomach is still swollen from all the fluids but I am walking about now. In fact this is my second day at work and I am doing all right.
I have stopped throwing up so just that little accomplishment makes me feel a million times better.
I still have a lot of pain but the doctor gave me some good painkillers so that really helps. I am taking it easy and don’t walk about too much at work and I certainly don’t let the children hug me.
Enough about this surgery stuff now and let’s get back to ways to save money…because when the bills for this start rolling in at the end of the month I am going to need all the money I can get.
Thanks for the update – I’m glad you’re feeling better. Take care!
Good to see you are recovering and back to work. I totally understand about those bills. Our little one’s recent week at the hospital totaled $20,000. Thankfully our insurance covers 100% of the stay, with the execption of certain Dr visits.
@ CFO:
Thanks for keeping me in mind.
@ MMJ:
Wanna adopt me? (so I can be covered under your 100% instead of my 80% 🙂 …just kidding)
