Welcome to my daily tracking of income and expenses for the month.
Income for the month to date: $213.46
Expenses for the month to date: $1870.01
Net effect: -$1656.55
I paid the cable and spent an additional $27.36 on food for the month, which includes snacks. I really need to cut down on the junk food because I bought a bag of cheesy poufs (yum yum) and a package of sugar cookies. Both of these, especially the sugar cookies, are really bad for my health.
Oh but they taste sooooooooooo good.
I did get my usual helping of fruits for the week so I have not been totally bad with my food choices, although I could do a lot better. I take one fruit to work with me every day and have that as my snack during the day. I alternate days with grapes,Γβ an apple or a banana and I get lots of vegetables at dinner because my mother has been cooking since she came to take care of me after my surgery . She has been a lifesaver especially since I was so weak and tired the first few days after getting out of the hospital.
Even with buying junk food I am still well within the food budget for the month and I might even come in under budget this month if things go as planned.
Every time I think there is no one who could possibly read these little posts about how I spend my money and decide to stop I always get pleasantly surprised by an email from a reader. I actually got listed in a post by Tight Fisted Mister who wrote about Bloggers Who Disclose Their Income a few days ago.
I will see you guys and gals later as I continue my journey to save money and become debt free!!!!
Bahh everything is bad for your health these days. Today a report was released by some danish folk, I do believe, and they said that vitamin A and B6 I think actually interfered with your body’s natural amounts and actually shortened your lifespan.
@ Save Money:
Well then I guess I am going to die young because I take a Centrum every day….chock full of vitamin A and B!!!!! π
Even too much water can make you gain weight if you don’t sweat it out. I am sure there is plenty of us out there who enjoys reading this. I am always curious as to that day when bam! all of sudden your income rockets and narrows the gap between your income and expenses.
@ Mark:
Water weight does not count for me because you can get rid of that easily…but fat is harder to burn off.
I too am waiting for the day when that financial happiness is mine….but for now all I can do is snowflake and snowball payments and blog about it and see the gap slowly decrease as my credit card debt gets smaller.
