Welcome to my daily tracking of income and expenses for the month.
Income for the day: $0.00
Expenses for the day: $39.25
Income for the month to date: $742.80
Expenses for the month to date: $874.56
Net effect: -$131.76
The expenses for the day were for food and for clothing. I mentioned earlier that I work at the bookstore on campus and I have been looking at some shirts from the spring semester. The clothes have been on the clearance racks and I was waiting to see how low the prices would go. On Monday the manager told me that we were having employee appreciation and I could get 45% off clothing, including what was on clearance. I ended up buying myself three of the shirts that I had been looking at and I got Honey a shirt because he is always so sweet to me. I got 45% off the entire order so I was glad with my decision and the total amount with taxes came to under $25 so I say it was not a bad deal.
😉 i love getting a bargain. i know it felt great to save money 🙂
p.s. thank you for the tips on paypal debit cards.

No prob miss T. Glad to see that my advice helped you. You helped me too so we square (in a good way :-))
Actually Shawn has slacked off a bit on the commenting because he used to compare his daily finances with mine….but I guess he QUIT now coz I am better. 🙂
Yes that is a challenge Shawn!
HAHA yeah, my bad, I’ve been pretty busy lately and haven’t had as much time to hit the net for blogging… but I am back now!
I’m not even sure where I left so, so I will start again fresh today with the current expenses and go form there each day.
Today was pretty rough… I had to book the hotel reservations for our trip to the 2008 CES show in Vegas.
One night’s payment to reserve the room – $283.40
Total thus far: $1712.62
PS – yes, you completely kick my tail in this every month!!!
Well Shawn some of the expenses you have like that hotel thing would not even apply to me. How about seeing if you can increase your income over the month and then we can compare the cash flow. Your expenses are waaaaaay higher than mine but if you get your income up then it won’t look so bad. 🙂
