So I finally filed my taxes and I am so glad that I am done with that process. Now I just have to wait for my refund and I pray (every year) that I do not have any issues.
I ended up using the software with the initials TT this year (sorry to all the others) because this year it just seemed to be easier to use and it guided me through the different scenarios that I needed to consider. I always attempt my taxes with multiple software packages because my taxes are very simple and it does not take me a great amount of time.
If you have not filed your taxes as yet I suggest you get on it…at the very least you will be cutting down on the time it takes to get your refund.
If you are waiting because you think you might owe then you can still get process started so that you have an idea of how much you may owe. Remember you don’t have to hit the ‘file’ button right away so you can get the estimate and then wait as long as you need to before you get it sent out.
