Every Friday I post about my finances for the week in an effort to monitor my income and expenses. I used to post all of the actual figures but I have recently decided to stop doing this.

I will now post SOME of my actual expenses and leave the rest to your imagination.

This week my income was:

My small ‘allowance’ from my job as a graduate assistant. I did redeem a few gift cards from Swagbucks (this is my affiliate link so I can get credit if you sign up under me) but I will not count them as income until I actually receive the physical gift cards.

This week my expenses were:

Rent and electricity. The electric bill was a little higher than I expected but still within my budget range for the month. I know that we have had unusually cold days and more snow than in the past so the heater has been running a lot more often than last year.
