Every Friday I post about my finances for the week in an effort to monitor my income and expenses. I used to post all of the actual figures but I have recently decided to stop doing this.
I will now post SOME of my actual expenses and leave the rest to your imagination. All income and expenses are recorded in Mint and any amounts are rolled over into the next month.
This week my expenses were:
The phone bill…or at least my portion of it. I am back on track with the phone bill after missing one month’s payment. I paid double last month because I forgot to pay the previous month. I am on a shared plan and the person I share with did not mind paying my part because it is so small.
$28.68 on food for the week, including bread, milk, and eggs.
We get paid next week so that will be great because I need the new month to roll over so I can get some more items.
Wow – your food bill is way low. Congrats on that achievement.
Well I am a struggling graduate student so I don’t have much in the way of food spending. I only drink water, coffee and tea…and we have a Keurig for all the PhD students in my office…so I get free coffee at work. We also have two bottled water set ups in case I ever need more than what I carry with me. On the other hand, I don’t eat very well on this low food budget either. 🙁
