Every Friday I post about my finances for the week in an effort to monitor my income and expenses. I used to post all of the actual figures but I have recently decided to stop doing this.

I will now post SOME of my actual expenses and leave the rest to your imagination.

This week my income was:

.My paycheck as a graduate student. Yeah, there is not much else to say about that. It is small but it keeps a roof over my head.

This week my expenses were:

$7.00 for a car wash. I live in an EXTREMELY dusty place and I don’t pay for covered parking so the birds also have a grand time decorating my car. That stuff is not good for your paint so I go to the car wash at least every other weekend to get the muck off.

I also paid rent online so I could get the points for using my Capital One credit card!! I love getting cash back (even though it is only 1%) for something that I have to do anyway.
