Money Mondays: 17 September 2018

Welcome to Money Mondays!

(If you are not reading this post at or in your feed reader, it may have been stolen from my site.)

I used to post my financial inflows and outflows on Fridays in the past but I decided to move this to Mondays instead. Normally I go grocery shopping on Sundays after church. Now I  will post the last week’s worth of financial inflows and outflows on Monday so that I can include the weekend spending as well.

This week my financial outflows were:

$9.71 for cat food. I ran out of cat food this week so I bought a new box for her.  I didn’t need to get anything else so that was all the spending for the week.

This week my financial inflows were:

$25.00 from redeeming a gift card.

  1. No stock portfolio payments? The start of September was a new quarter, so if you own any stock, you might have gotten paid.

    • I actually don’t check my ROTH IRA so I don’t ever know if I get income from my stocks. I know some may think that is strange but I know the general balance and as long as it stays around that in my Mint account I don’t pay attention to the details. I also get interest on an interest bearing savings account but it is just a few cents at the end of the month. It usually comes some time in the middle of the week and is it so small that I always forget to record it.
