Welcome to tracking of income and expenses for the month. Please note that I get paid on the last day of the month so my cash flow net effect will usually be negative until the last day of the month.
This does not mean that I am adding to my debt, it just means that the money coming in is less than the money going out because bills are due starting on the first but I don’t get paid until the last day.
So again to clarify (since I get so many questions), this shows the cash FLOW for the month. On Day 2 of every month I will have a negative FLOW because I have paid rent etc so money has LEFT my checking account. I have not had any money come in on Day 2 of the current month since I got paid on day 27 or 30 or 31 of the previous month so that income is counted for LAST month.
Income for the month to date: $4.65
Expenses for the month to date: $1035.71
Net effect: -$1031.06
Since the last posting I have paid rent and all the fun stuff associated with that.
I spent $25.03 on food and $23.67 on personal items. Part of that money was $9.99 on a bath set a lovely Vanilla Nutmeg scent. It contains body wash, shower gel (what is the difference), scented lotion and glitter powder with a powder puff. I love stuff like that and yes I did not need it but I sooooooooooo wanted a shimmer dust and powder puff and it is in my favorite vanilla scent!!!!
I also paid two of the personal loans and made half of the car payment. The second half of the car payment will go out on the 17th which is when I used to make the full payment. The half payment that I made is more than the payment due but I just decided to pay in two installments to reduce the interest burden.
I will see you guys and gals later as I continue my journey to save money and become debt free!!!!
Well you deserve to treat yourself to some nice smelling things once in awhile, too! It sounds like you’re getting a lot of your things paid off & that’s great. Keep up the good workk ! =)
WOW! you seem like a really disciplinned person. but as Credit Girl said, sometimes ppl deserve a special treat as a kind of incentive.
