Money Mondays: 30 December, 2019

Welcome to Money Mondays!

(If you are not reading this post at www.howisavemoney.net or in your feed reader, it may have been stolen from my site.)

I used to post my financial inflows and outflows on Fridays in the past but I decided to move this to Mondays instead. Normally I go grocery shopping on Sundays after church. Now I will post the last week’s worth of financial inflows and outflows on Monday so that I can include the weekend spending as well.

This week my financial outflows were:

$13.72 for a new tire. I was driving and someone pulled up to me at a red light and waved me down. He yelled that I had a flat before the light changed. Anyway I was able to use a friend’s Triple A to get someone to put the donut on so I could make it to Walmart. At Walmart they found out that the nail had pierced the sidewall and the entire thing needed to be replaced. Luckily my tire was still under warranty. I paid $10 for the life of each tire one year ago. I was charged the tire rotation fee and an additional dollar for a state fee.

$30.24 including tip for takeout. This food will give me two meals so it is not too bad of a deal. I rarely eat out and this was a treat after a long day out with friends.
