Welcome to tracking of income and expenses for the month. Please note that I get paid on the last day of the month so my cash flow net effect will usually be negative until the last day of the month.
This does not mean that I am adding to my debt, it just means that the money coming in is less than the money going out because I do not get my salary until the last day of the month.
Income for the month to date: $567.78
Expenses for the month to date: $2291.82
Net effect: -$1724.04
I ended up paying $11.57 for gas on the weekend at a cost of $1.82 per gallon. I went out of town and had a really nice weekend and the tank was at about half when I filled up so this was good. I am currently at $15.76 out of a gas budget of $75 for the month. This is less than 50% of my gas budget and we are already halfway through the month. I only anticipate one more weekend trip for Thanksgiving so I should be well below my gas budget for the month.
Almost all of the bills for the month have been paid….I just have a few more small credit card payments to go and one or two loan payments. I predict that I will come out ahead again this month because I got some more money from advertising on the blog that was not a part of my budget.
I will see you guys and gals later as I continue my journey to save money and become debt free!!!!
You are my heroine!! Good luck on remaining debt free…and happy!

awwwwwwwwwwww you’re making me blush.
The more I pay off the happier I feel. Can’t wait for the end of the credit card debt.
It’s really great to see others pay-off their debts. To me it seems unrealistic. Happy to know that you’re getting through yours.
