I just read something about a family that was flat broke but they were able to deal with it.

One point to note is that they are not giving up. Being broke is not the end of your life nor is it the end of the world.

It is just a set back…yes it is painful and depressing…for a while.

Crying over it is not going to improve your situation.

What you need to do is find ways to deal with it.

Are you flat broke but still paying for premium cable channels? Maybe you could cut out the cable and save the $40.00 a month.

Are you flat broke but still getting your nails done because you don’ want to ‘look’ broke even though you are? Keep your nails short and polish them at home. The $25.00 you save per week adds up. (maybe then you can pay the cable bill!)]

Quit drinking soda from the vending machines. Not only will this save you a few bucks but it is also good for your teeth.

Use coupons, they are your friends.

Get rid of those magazine subscriptions. If you REALLY need to read go to the public library and pick up some books. My favorites are by John Grisham and Lawrence Block.
