Save Money On Dining Out By Being A Friend

Did you know that you can save money on different restaurants by being on facebook?

More and more restaurants and other establishments are on facebook and if you ‘friend’ them or ‘like’ them they will email you a coupon!

Look for your favorite eats on facebook and watch the savings come in.

  2. Great idea. Many restaurants even offer coupons right on their website. It’s worth looking around for. Certain newspapers regularly include restaurant coupons too.

  4. It’s so cool to see restaurants taking advantage of social media by doing offers like these, I couldn’t believe it when I first saw it but now I am always on the look out of some sweet coupons and savings! 😀

  5. Restaurant.com is great for coupons as well. Every couple of weeks they have 80% off deals as well. So, I often get $20 coupons for $0.40. They usually have a $35 minimum spent but it’s still a great deal especially when you go with a group.

  7. Don’t forget about small local restaurants too. Many are on Twitter or Facebook and offer deals and coupons on their respective pages as well.

Do a search for your faves and see which have social media accounts. Several of my local eateries have great stuff.

    Cheers,

    • Thanks for the tip Myra. I never thought about the smaller restaurants having facebook pages as well….but in this day it is almost like you MUST have one.

  8. Yes, it definitely ‘pay’s to friend as many stores and restaurants that you go to as possible. Yes, the updates can be kind of annoying and can clutter your page, but more and more stores are doing special promotions this way. Also, as mentioned above, you might want to check out twitter as well to get special coupons. But sometimes this is overkill as stores usually put the same thing on both.
