Today I found out my dear, sweet, precious kitty has cancer. This is after numerous vet visits and TONS of vomiting and liquid stools.
It is ironic (?) that the cat who was given to me as a comfort over my mother dying of cancer would ALSO have cancer.
It is very aggressive and the doctors do not think surgery will help so the best option is euthanasia.
I will miss this sweet little face glaring at me when I dared to disturb his nap on MY bed.
or napping
So sorry to hear that. I had a cat that had a lump that they felt was likely cancerous, and soon after she stopped eating, and I had her put down. It’s never easy, but it’s good that she was able to bring you comfort for the time that you had.
It was just shocking to me. I actually saw the xray and knew before the vet said anything. It was a very aggressive form that grew in leaps and bounds and was not noted when we had gone in for a check up just one month prior.
